About Guy

Guy Cross started playing golf at age 12 and by the time he was 16 he turned professional, playing events and fulfilling basic corporate responsibilities (such as pro-am games and giving simple classes) soon after.  At 18 Guy went to university in Liverpool where he trained as a Primary School teacher specializing in Physical Education.

After finishing university Guy began work with a Christian organization affiliated with the charity YFC (Youth For Christ), who were founded in the United States.  Guy’s role was a Youth Worker and then later as the organization’s Team Leader.  On leaving YFC Guy worked in the corporate world until 2012 when he worked, in Jakarta, as the Youth & Children’s Pastor of a large Anglican church.  As part of the role in Jakarta Guy rediscovered his love of working with children of all ages and working in a school environment.

From 2012-2016 Guy was also fortunate enough to play golf professionally again, this time in Indonesia.  In 2016 Guy played on the relatively new PGA (Professional Golf Association) Indonesia Tour.  During this time of playing tour golf in Indonesia Guy was able to help a lot of people with their game, from business people and diplomats to elementary and high school children.  Guy also helped companies use golf as a tool to win new business, his clients included Emirates Airlines Indonesia, Golf Travel Asia and a number of boutique investment managers.

Guy lives and breathes golf.  Simply, he ventured back into the world of professional golf because his passion and skills meant he kept being asked to get involved in golf in a professional manner.  This love for the game, all aspects of the game, makes Guy a great host for a charity or corporate golf day.  Guy is good at teaching and coaching golfers of all ages and abilities, making sure people have a fun game of golf at events and (of course) playing golf!  Right now Guy is working towards qualifications with the Titleist Performance institute and US Kids Golf.

It is with great pleasure and anticipation Guy looks forward to working as a central part of the Panamanian golf community and the international community.
